INTERNATIONAL: The new Saudi owners of English Premier League club Newcastle are wasting no time in making their presence felt. They’ve already started looking for a new manager to replace Steve Bruce, even though he hasn’t actually confirmed whether he’s staying or going.

Former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, former Dortmund boss Lucien Favre and former Inter coach Antonio Conte, have emerged as three of the favourites to replace Steve Bruce. Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, on a successful spell in charge of the Glasgow club, is another name linked to Tyneside. Leicester City manager Brendon Rodgers and Belgium national team manager, Roberto Martinez, are other names being tossed onto the field.

British businesswoman, Amanda Staveley, who’s part of the Saudi-led consortium which now owns Newcastle, recently refused to say whether or not Bruce's job was secure. Newcastle are still winless from seven games this season and are languishing in the relegation zone.

The Ministry of Information considers this act to be immoral, one that undermines the dignity of professional journalists and violates the business contract with the Ministry.</p><p>The President of the UJFC, Huy Vannak, informed the Minister of Information that in order to contribute to the promotion of the media sector in Cambodia in the future, the federation has decided to set work directions on three major priorities: professional journalism, mass media on social media and public opinion. At the same time, he said the federation plans to launch five priority knowledge training courses based on journalism, journalism leadership, spokesperson affairs, public affairs and speaker training. </p><p>Minister Khieu Kanharith praised the efforts of the UJFC, together with more than 50 newspaper associations in Cambodia, for their work in the information and media sector. He also expressed his support for the federation's ongoing training program, and its efforts to help share information with journalists about advancements in digital technology.</p><p>The Union of Journalist Federations of Cambodia (UJFC) was established on 8 August 2016. In addition to being recognized by the Ministry of Information, the federation is also registered in the list of associations at the Ministry of Interior as the "Association of Union of Journalist Federations of Cambodia" through Proclamation No. 626 dated 16 February 2022.
